MOUNTAIN SLEDS

The 800 RMK has enough domestically produced power under the hood to make its two-inch deep lug track carve up the slope like a ram wearing carbides. And this year, you can take your choice of a Rigel Blue sled with a 144" track or a Metallic Black machine with 151" track. The 151" track comes with 12.5" of travel on our XTRA-Lite RMK rear suspension. Both feature new adjustable tunnel mounting positions for changing riding conditions. Up front, Polaris' RMK suspension and Controlled Roll Center complement our standard offset sidehiller skis and adjustable ski stance for unequalled handling on the hills. The 800 RMK comes with new vinyl on the Gen II seat, handlebar hooks and mountain bar, and tunnel roll boot grips with an integrated cooling system.

Powder riders speak a language all their own, punctuated with terminology that's as colorful as the mountains are tall. This is only fitting because snowmobiling, as practiced by powder riders, is a sport all their own. The weather is fickle, the terrain, varied and the air, thin. And here, the sheer enjoyment of snowmobiling is unlike that found anywhere else. Riding is special when you can reach down and touch the snow or reach up and touch a cloud the Powder Special 600 EFI,Powder Special 600,Powder Special 500 EFI,Powder Special 700,or Thundercat Mountain Cat will help you get there.

The mountain calls you. It taunts you. It dares you. You see it everyday. You’ve watched its face grow white, and it has created in you a will to conquer it that you simply cannot ignore. Sure, you’ve won highmarking contests before, but this new challenge requires something much more special. More determination more concentration, more sled. This is why you pack the most potent mountain machine you can buy. Those other guys don’t have a Rotax 800cc Series 3 twin. They don’t have the superlight ZX platform. And they sure don’t have 151 inches of track under them. This morning you’re going to show the mountain who’s boss. You’re rolling in with the Ski-Doo Summit Highmark X sled. It’s time to put on a clinic…

Ski-doo's Summit
Setting the high mark. For some western riders, that pretty much sums up what mountain riding is. For them, there's one goal — be king of the hill! That means you need a mountain sled whose rider, according to SnoWest, "will be sitting at the top of the mountain. Probably alone." You need a Mountain Max 700. Powered by Yamaha's legendary, 700cc, single-pipe triple pumping out a broader powerband and better throttle response than any competitive twin on the market. And built with such peak-tackling features as our 141" x 2" Deep Snow Special track. ProAction Mountain rear suspension. Lightweight rocker skis. High handlebars with mountain strap. And anti-slip siderails for optimal driver movement and leverage. A long, comprehensive list of mountain features. So superior is this machine at climbing, side-hilling and floating over deep snow it's almost unfair. The Mountain Max 700. It's good to be the king of the hill!
